Shevelia is an alternative jazz ensemble made up of three Des Moines area musicians. Shevelia primarily performs original music along with a few arrangements of their favorite jazz standards. While Shevelia is most at home pushing the envelope of non-traditional jazz/fusion/electronic music, they are also willing and able to perform in a traditional jazz trio setting and are available for booking at any venue looking for a small jazz ensemble.
