Wave Cage is an electronic jazz quartet based out of Iowa City, Iowa. The group features Nolan Schroeder (tenor sax, electronics), Ryan Garmoe (trumpet, electronics), Jarrett Purdy (keyboards, synthesizers), and Chris Jensen (drums, electronics). Little Village Magazine recently described Wave Cage's debut release, the Portrait EP, as "...an engaging, atmospheric, beautifully produced and occasionally humorous recording".
