Coming off the success of the Sinatra Come Fly with Me revue at Noce, Max Wellman and his big band highlight not only the works of Frank Sinatra, but of his contemporaries and those that came after as well. The set will feature songs made famous by the likes of Harry Connick Jr, Michael Bublé, Dean Martin, and more.
Not only that, but Wellman plans on a steady stream of newly commissioned arrangements from some of today’s great Big Band arrangers. The new format will allow for an ever-changing set list each time the band takes the stage.

Wellman co-founded Noce, a state-of-the-art jazz club in the Western Gateway neighborhood of downtown Des Moines. Additionally, Wellman has appeared at some of the great clubs throughout the country, from Dizzy's Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center to Andy's Jazz Club in Chicago to Dazzle in Denver & many in between. Performances alongside vocalist Rose Colella & pianist Annie Booth have been met with rave reviews.
