The incomparable Jazz & Blues Queen, Tina Haase Findlay continues her tradition of ringing in the holiday season at Noce with a show the evening after Thanksgiving with a spectacular show with special guest performers!
Already honored at the tender age of 53 with the terms "legend" and "icon," the award-winning vocals of Tina Haase Findlay have made their mark throughout the jazz realm as well as in blues, rock, soul, gospel, commercial jingles, and musical theatre. This includes countless big band and combo settings, such as The Bob Weast Swingin’ Big Band and The Red Sneaker Dixieland Jazz Band. She has opened for and/or shared the stage with such luminaries as Sam Salamone, Frank Tribble, Irene Myles, Susie Miget, Renee Austin, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Bruce Katz, Joanna Connor, and many more. Most recently, her much-lauded Queens of Jazz tribute shows at Noce Jazz Club in downtown Des Moines have cemented her place as one of the scene’s most sought-after vocalists. A two-time Iowa Blues Challenge winner, Tina is currently the youngest member (and one of the few women) of the Des Moines Jazz Hall of Fame.
None of us at Noce are taking your health and safety lightly. We are taking a very carefully curated approach to this new process, & I promise to keep a diligent eye on our operations as we continue down this road.
Whether it's with the masks, the temperatures taken at the door, or the spaced out tables, it may feel incredibly different than before all of this began. The good news is that once you're in your seat with a cocktail in hand & a great band on the stage, you'll have everything you need for another great night at Noce.
